Job Description
Our government client is seeking Intermediate-Level Maintenance Technicians with the skills and experience to perform maintenance tasks independently. This role is ideal for candidates with demonstrated expertise in maintenance work and the ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks independently, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Operate and maintain commercial vehicles and equipment as required for maintenance operations.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and facility issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for completed tasks and equipment use.
- Assist in training entry-level staff and provide guidance as needed.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment safely between work sites using commercial vehicles.
- Comply with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- License: Valid Class B Driver’s License with air brake endorsement.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience driving a commercial vehicle.
- Training: Candidates must complete required training and obtain qualifications as determined by the Department.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various environmental conditions.
